June 2016 – Shepherd’s Hut We didn’t arrive at the shepherds hut until quite late and were sadly only staying the one night, but it was fantastic. The hut is beautiful, it’s well equipt, cosy and has some fantastic wooden benches that I’m very envious of! We had our late dinner on the little lift out table, overlooking some gorgeous countryside and even had a visit from the little furry welcome party! Caroline also came down to say hi, she was helpful and sympathetic with us after our never-ending journey. There’s lots of great storage to keep the bags out of the way so we were free to enjoy the hut, the bed is a good size (my other half is 6’3″ and found he had plenty of space) and is very comfortable. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back again for a longer stay. ”  Pam
